We drive with a van in the morning to a place called paraje El Manso, (by the Manso river) there it starts our mountain bike trip. We ride over swinging bridges by the Manso river tracking the way of an old border crossing right to the Chilean border. Crossing the borderline we visit a small Chilean village. We recommend that you wear comfortable cloths and that you bring along a windbracker or park and a spare wearing.

Distance: 20 km

We bike along the lake Gutiérrez shore, we go up to villa Catedral, then we ride through the forest to Casa de Piedra stream and Moreno lake. We recommend that you wear comfortable cloths.

Duration: half day- 3 Hs mountain bike riding (start at 8.00hs - return at 13.00hs)
Distance: 40 km

We take the road to the south out of the city, then we take a macadam road that goes through Chall huaco valley until we get to the refugio (mountain lodge j. J. Neumeyer). Forest, flowers, birds, sightseeing spots, botanical interpretation trails, are just a couple of the beauties of this magic trip. We recommend that you wear comfortable cloths.
