the Andes - trekking</b></a></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">We enjoy a 12 day long <b>trekking,
that we will have the opportunity to sleep in typical </b><b>mountain lodges
and tents, we will trek thorough valleys and ridges, passing along high mountain
lagoons.</b> The average height above sea level is between <b>1500 and 2000
meters</b> sobre over mountain terrain with forests, rockland, snow, etc. We
will enjoy a typical argentine asado (barbecue) in Pampa Linda at The foot of
Mount<b> Tronador </b>(3554m). Then we will trek The trail known as <b>Pampa
Linda - Paso de las Nubes </b>around Mt. Tronador (3354m) in N- NW-W bearing
to The Chilean - Argentine border. This part is well known by The majestic glaciers
of Mt. Tronador and The emerald color waters of <b> Frķas lake</b>. After crossing
The border The vegetation changes completely, this part we will right a comfortable
bus to Peulla Port. After lunch at The Peulla hotel we will take The ferry over
<b> "Todos los Santos" lake </b> from where we will have a great view to The
<b>Osorno and Puntiagudo volcano</b>, so typical of The Northern Patagonia.
Finally we will arrive to Petrohué. From here The rest of our trip will
be by car or van, driving around small towns in Chile like <b>Pto. Montt, where
we will enjoy a great view to The Pacific Ocean coast from where we will return
to Bariloche.</b> This is one of our most complete trips, including The great
experience of crossing The Andes almost on foot - trekking over The <b>Cordillera
de los Andes.</b> It is a quiet demanding adventure because of The amount of
trekking days and training, although The rhythm is light and adapted to The
group pace. <b>If you think is too much for you The whole trekking you can join
us just in The shorter parts or just for a couple of days.</b> We will be trekking
from 5 to 8 hours daily.</font> </p>
