In this activity, you'll feel your mountain spirit come alive in the Andes. After waking up early to see the sunrise, you'll get your equipment together and begin the climb through glaciers. From the top of the highest peak in the area, Mount Tronador, you'll be thrilled to see the sights of the surrounding mountains, including many volcanoes and peaks like Volcano Lanin (3776 m), Puntiagudo and Osorno. And descending with the sensation of having realized your goal getting to the summit, one of the highest peaks in the Southern Andes is also something you'll never forget.
Day 1:Leaving Bariloche for Pampa Linda. Climb to Otto Meiling Refugio (approx 2000 m) Day 2: Wake early, prepare equipment and head out to Pico Argentino Refugio (approx 6 hours). This route will take you through glaciers (which can be crossed in spring by touring skis) to an area called "the depression". After accessing the summit of Pico Argentinala, head back down to Otto Meiling Refugio. Day 3: Descend to Pampa Linda and return to Bariloche. This trip can also be done in two days, depending on the climate, fitness level of the clients etc.
