Flyfishing trips to Patagonia Esquel outfitters

All trips will be tailored to each client or group. 5-7 day trips will typically be spent in the Los Alerces region and Esquel region. If this is a return trip, then Rio Pico and Esquel would be a great change of scenery. The best trip is a 10 day trip that gives enough time to explore all 3 regions.

1) Rio Rivadavia
(Browns, Rainbow, Atlantic Salmon)
This beautiful river is the favorite choice included in every itinerary. With two spring creeks, healthy brows and rainbows, it will take your breath and backing away. Flowing from Lago Rivadavia 7 miles into Lago Verde makes it a perfect full day float.

2) Rio Carrileufu
(Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow, Brook, Brown)
The Carrileufu is primarily a landlocked Atlantic Salmon experience. It holds the healthiest population of Atlantic Salmon in the southern region. These fickle fish will test your patience and tippet. There is a healthy rainbow population also which gives you plenty of action on a one day float.

3) Rio Tigre
(Rainbow, Atlantic Salmon)
Flowing into Lago Cholila, this river is accessed by taking a motor boat to the Boca, where our fishing begins. Salmon stack up at the mouth and make for an exciting half day experience on foot.
