Ismael Páez Britos

White water rafting professional guide since 1993. Director and Instructor Rafting in mountain rivers course. He is an active member of the Rescue Team Patagonia. Outdoor events organizer. CEO of Patagonia Rafting.

Beside being responsible of Patagonia Rafting, his most important interest is the outdoor activities what led him to take part of an important number of outdoor events. He rafted over rivers like Futaleufú (southern Chile) and Sort, Pirineous Catalan (Spain) among others. “Each trip is unique, with a new group, new people, new challenges and opportunities”. Ismael a great load of energy and passion to his work combining it with great enjoyment and natural leadership and obsession for safety and excellence.

Héctor Valle "Negro"

National Physical Activities Professor . Professional Rafting and Kayaking guide. Kayaking Instructor.

“Negro” is the most experienced of our staff. His life is a great example of good health and great shape. In out season he keeps himself busy working as kayaking Instructor in his own school and also as Physical activities professor at regular schools. He enjoys being in the river giving people the opportunity to experience something new sharing with them the natural beauties of Patagonia. He prefers the longer trips, with camping and bonfires and long talks in between. “Negro” has lots of hours being in the rivers everywhere in Cordillera de los Andes.

Martin Papalia

Outdoor cameraman, editor, mountaineer and professional kayaker.

Martin has been our cameraman for the last 5 years. He has shoot great pictures and captured great videos of our trips. His “experienced eye” captures the best images of this amazing nature, a perfect mixture between stillness and fury. Special moments are saved for ever: a fall into the water, flip over of rafts in the giant Futaleufú, “wraps” in the white and quick Aluminé as well as memorable moments with "Corderos al Asador" (lamb barbecue) in the camping at the end of the day journey.

Amilkar Kopprio

Professional Rafting and Kayaking guide.

Amilkar is the youngest in our staff, although his passion for the river has made him an excellent white water rafter and kayaker. He has showed his great qualities in kayaking, hidrospeed or duckies. His quiet character and easiness has made him an excellence guide. His adventure spirit has taken him to different places of the planet in search of new exiting moments in the rivers like Pirineos Catalan (Spain), California (USA) and Southern Chile.
