We offer logistical services with highly-trained and professional mountain guides for film or photography productions in Patagonia of Argentina or Chile shooting for advertisements, journalism, or movies. Our Mountain Guides are familiar with the Patagonian Ice Cap, the mountains and volcanoes of the Southern Andes, the Lakes District of Northern Patagonia, and the area of San Carlos de Bariloche.
Our mountain guides are experts in outdoor mountain sports on snow, rock, and ice. We help film productions and photo shoots with logistics such as safety, Spanish, culture, location, transportation, helicopters, horses, mountain biking, ski touring, avalanche awareness, mountaineering, climbing, ropes management, and outdoor gear.
We take care of film location safety and logistics expertises involved with the production.

"Chile Volcano" Season 3 Episode 15. In September of 2009, we worked with the film crew Rocky Mountains Sherpas and Nate Nash, a cameraman for Matchstick Production 10+ years. We had a blast organizing logistics, guiding, and helping with the filming of the Crater of Volcano Puyehue in Chile as it was skied by world-class athletes Mark Abma, Eric Hjorleifson and Chris Rubens.

"All.I.Can." Environmental Ski Film
September of 2009, we worked with the Rocky Mountain Sherpas as they shot footage for their Environmental Mountain Film, "All.I.Can.". Andescross organized logistics for athletes from Salomon, Helly Hansen, and 4FRNT Skis, Mark Abma, Eric Hjorleifson, and Chris Rubens, to ski first descents into the crater of Chile's Volcano Puyehue. Multi-award winning Dave Mossop (Director, Cinema Photographer) and Malcolm Sangster (Producer, Photographer) not only filmed with us in Chile, but also journeyed with professional skiers and mountaineers to Morocco, Alaska, and British Columbia to create their film. The full feature is available from the fall of 2011.

"Ring of Fire- First Descents Inside Chile's Puyehue Volcano" by Malcom Sangster of the Rocky Mountain Sherpas. Jorge Kozulj, Andescross head mountain guide, organized logistics for this British Columbia based film and photography crew and Canadian professional skiers Mark Abma, Eric Hjorleifson, and Chris Rubens (and all of their gear!) to access this remote volcano in the Patagonian Andes of Chile. During this ski filming trip, the team also filmed for a Solomon Freeski TV episode and the environmental mountain film "All.I.Can." (above).

Transworld Snowboarding Magazine Featured Article in Vol. 24
February 2011 with The North Face Athletes
In September of 2010, Jorge Kozulj, Andescross head guide, took a team from Transworld and The North Face to Snowboard into the Crater of the Chilean Volcan Puyehue. We arranged logistics and provided mountain guiding services for photographer Scott Serfas and writer Ben Gavelda to document world-class snowboarders Xavier de le Rue, Luca Debari and DCP (David C Porcheron) as they rode the steeps into the volcano's crater.

Transworld Snowboarding Cinema with The North Face "A
Chilean Volcano Venture Video"
Andescross organized logistics for videographer Joe Carlino to shoot footage of professional athletes Xavier de le Rue, Luca Debari and DCP (David C Porcheron) snowboarding into the crater of Chile's Volcano Puyehue in Patagonia. On this trip, the team also shot photos and documented their experience for the featured article in Transworld Snowboarding Magazine issued February 2011.
The video was also featured on the website YES.NOW.BOARD for the YES Snowboard Project.
"L'aventurier alpin" TV Show Episode on Quebec's Evasion Channel
In September of 2010, Andescross provided mountain guiding and logistics support for Canadian ski guides and film crew to shoot an episode of ¨L´aventurier alpin¨ for Quebec's Evasion TV Channel.
"L'aventurier alpin" documents adventurer Simon St-Arnaud as he travels around the world looking for unique ski mountaineering expeditions in alpine destinations such as the Alps, Alaska, and the Andes of Patagonia. This episode documents skiing a volcano in Argentina and backcountry ski touring around the Patagonian Lakes District. Air date was set for the spring of 2011
